My Name is Julia Mühl and I am a Communications Professional.
I have a strong academic foundation and broad international experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Communication from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien), where I graduated with top distinction (GPA 1.0) and received a merit-based scholarship for outstanding performance. Already knowing my passion for linguistics, I wrote my master’s thesis about rhetorical devices in corporate communication.
My Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration complements my education well with specializations in International Marketing Management and International Business Communication.
During my studies, I also had the amazing opportunity to spend two semesters abroad. One semester at KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux and one semester at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
By now, I am fluent in German, English, and French — and working on my Italian and Dutch skills.
As for my professional journey — I have gained extensive experience over the past years. I’ve worked across a variety of communication and marketing projects — from planning and promoting international events to developing campaigns, marketing materials, and social media strategies. I’ve managed website relaunches, refreshed corporate identities, and optimized internal and external communication processes.
A big part of my work involved writing and editing (from newsletters and press texts to internal documents and brand guidelines) always with an eye for clarity, consistency, and tone. I also supported strategic projects, coordinated design and production workflows, and contributed to process digitalization. Through these experiences, I’ve learned to move comfortably between creative storytelling and analytical proofreading.
Next to my professional life I love traveling. I’ve always been curious by nature and adore exploring new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and finding inspiration in how others see the world. Traveling has taught me to adapt quickly and stay open-minded. That’s also how I like to work: I enjoy stepping into new projects, learning about unfamiliar industries, and finding the right words and strategies to make ideas come alive. Whether it’s rewriting an article, shaping a brand voice, or translating documents — I’m always eager to take on new projects.
